Our SLIMICIDES are custom made for each mill depending on the type of microorganisms that are prevalent in the mill. A mill survey is conducted by our technical personnel before suggesting a suitable product.
The SLIMICIDES are biodegradable and are used at the level of 50-100 ppm/ton of paper. We manufacture Oxidising as well as non-Oxidising biocides.
Oxidising Biocides
TRYLOX:
This is based on onsite generation of Oxidizers which is the active ingredient of the product. It is extremely safe, non-polluting, biodegradable and has no effect on the desired properties of paper. This technology is highly effective when the process for paper manufacture involves high filler contents at alkaline pH. In fact this technology is used for treating drinking water world wide.
Non-Oxidising Biocides
These products are used when the paper manufacturing process does not involve high concentrations of fillers like GCC and PCC. These products can be used at ph below 7 upto-pH8. They are highly effective in controlling slime formation at the above pH. The products are environmental friendly and biodegradable. They do not cause any adverse effect on paper manufacturing process. These products are environmental friendly and Bio-degradable.
